Pinout and Configuration functions disabled?

Trying to configure my project to use USART2. When I opened "System Core" and "Connectivity", I see that a bunch of options are disabled or have warning signs. I haven't been able to find out why or how to change them, and this isn't an issue I have run into before... so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @willgordge and welcome to the ST Community 😊.

Those signs means that you can't use this peripheral (for the red cirecle sign) or maybe some of this peripheral configurations are not possible (for the yellow triangle). For example if you are using all SPI5 available pins for other functions, you can't use this SPI interface.

I suggest you to put the Cursor on the IP name. A message will appear to explain why this not possible to use.
