Hello to everybody,
I have the NUCLEO-F303K8 and I'm trying to use an external power supply (+5V).
As it is described in the reference manual MB1180, section 6.4.2, the external 5V needs to be connected to the +5V connector (pin 4 of CN4).
However, by doing that the MCU doesn't boot because the signal RSTN remains at about 1.4V...
Everything works when connecting the USB, and this is ok for programming/debugging but why the MCU doesn't boot?
The only limitation listed in table 5 is that the ST-link is not powered.
Can someone help me? Because I doesn't make sense to me that powering the board with an external voltage doesn't boot.
Thanks in advance.

No one from ST can help me with this issue?
Am I missing something in the documentation?

It was for L432KC, but I found the same problem in both NUCLEO boards
