Now Rev 3

STOne-32 - Is the ADC tech writer MIA ? Rev 3 still describes only 16 external channels when 24 are available.

Hi baird,
The total external channels which can be used by ADC (ADC1, ADC2 or ADC3) are up to 24. However, for one ADC there are up to 16 external channels. Cheers, STOne-32.2013-03-07 11:18 AM
rev4
http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/reference_manual/DM00031020.pdf (I guess the links in previous posts won't work due to ST web rework a couple of weeks ago) I predict we will see a new revision 5 coming out soon again: in rev.4, apparently due to the newly announced 'F429/F439 (which are substantially different, granting a different Reference Manual yet to be published) the references to the chips' names was changed.... but instead of referencing specifically to 'F427/'F437 and 'F40x/'F41x, they did it the other way round: refer specifically to '405xx/07xx and '415xx/17xx, and errorneously generally to 'F42x and 'F43x.... Also interestingly, the datasheet at least for STM32F40x (DS8626, Doc ID 022152 Rev 3, http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/datasheet/DM00037051.pdf - I always ''admired'' this numbering/naming ''scheme'' :-) ) nor the errata for those parts did not change, while some of the changes in the reference manual indicate, that operation below 1.8V at reduced temperature is not allowed anymore. Any comment from ST for this? JW2013-05-02 07:48 AM
STM32F4xx product folders display a new rev4 of errata (ES0182: STM32F405/407xx and STM32F415/417xx device limitations) but as of now the old one downloads.
If the displayed file size is true, it grew cca 4x ... JW2013-05-06 07:57 AM
The STM32F40x Errata rev 4 is available.
Interestingly, it's only 8 pages longer than rev 3, yet 4x the file size. JW2013-05-07 06:07 AM
Im slightly confused, rev2 says that FS USB is NOT supported on the STM32F05RG but rev3 now says it is!
Im currently using a STM32407 100pin but want to swap to the STM32F405 64pin. Will my full speed usb code still work? Thanks :)2013-05-08 05:45 AM
My previous post was refering to the STM32F40xx.pdf Oops
My question still applies though :)2013-05-08 12:57 PM
Which document are you talking about, and where did it say it does not support USB FS?
Are you aware of that RM0090 is in rev4 now? JW
