I2C configuration tool, Clock configuration tool

Hi,

I am currently working with the stm32f030 MCU and I am trying to configure I2C timing and the MCU clock, peripheral clocks.

I got this excel sheets from ST (what were they thinking?) where you can configure the I2C and clocks but it wont work on excel 2010, and I cannot find it officially on their homepage no more either. They have this ''Cube'' software which I do not really want to use and that does not really help me generating the configuration files I need, like system_stm32f0xx.c. I cannot find anything that helps me with the I2C timing either in this Cube tool.

Anyone have any suggestions? Did I miss something?

Do you mean ''The clock configuration tool'' when you speak about the excel sheet? Is it the one that you can download from

?

If you want to use the SPL, you can refer to the I2C examples in the standard peripheral library (

http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/PF257884

).

The Cube also contains some examples.

So, you can choose the more suitable solution in your case.
