i have a modbus device which uses stm32f030c8 inside it. when i use commands to change baud rate or device address it will work once, but as i power off the device it will lost the baud rate and device address. what is the problem and what should i do?

You have to store it in some non-volatile memory: unused page of FLASH, external EEPROM, battery-powered RAM, etc.
