I cannot locate the STM32H757 chips for sale anywhere, at least not at anything below extortion level prices. On the other hand the STM32MP1xx series are available everywhere and are still at reasonable prices. Is this a push to shift technologies?

Should I give up on the STM32H series and move to the STM32MP series?

chips everyone is using have been 2 years drying out, chips that noone is using (because they are too new) are available.

St is not even able to steadily provide STLinks, i would blame the thisone to postcovid market

Since last year i always develop multifootprint pcb layouts to be able to shift from one mcu to another without disrupting the production line too much.

Normally i do TFBGA inside a LQFP if the mcus need a bit of rerouting, but normally just stay with LQFP and a couple of 0R jumpers (the reflow oven hates BGA).

we dont need to firmware by ourselves, lets talk
