Hi every body,
I hoped to supported from community, friendlly technichians so much,
I need embedded my program from Simulink to MCU STM32F411 on Discovery kit to and run real-time in External-Mode, so Vitual COM Port is very important.
I Installed Drivers for STMicroelectronics Discovery Boards by many ways (as show in Fig 1 & 2) that ST-Link V2 driver from website: https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/development-tools/software-development-tools/stm32-software-development-tools/stm32-utilities/stsw-link009.html#get-software .
(Fig 1. Install driver by update driver)
(Fig 2. Install driver by run dpinst_amd64.exe)
Both 2 ways upper is similar results. But i only see "STM32 STLink" in Universal Serial Bus devices as below figure 3. And others ways that i used to tried is driver form https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-stm32102.html (But i don't see any files .exe to install.)
(Fig.3 STLink drive is installed successful)
How i can setup STMicroelectronics STLink Vitual COM Port to connect with Simulink as Figure from Matlab manual in Figure below?
(Fig 4. the desired result that i hope).
And this is the list all of divers that i downloaded in my folder to try them
THANKS EVERY BODY SO MUCH,
Hien Huynh.

I am having the same problem and couldn't find any solution other than that using a USB to TTL adapter. So i will order one and have a look what's going to happen.

Maybe the firmware on it is too old? You can try STM32CubeProgrammer to do a firmware upgrade. I had an old Discovery board that had an old firmware which did not include the driver for the Serial over USB.
