I am still attempting to program a 32F413VGT circuit board using the STLink V2 programmer. The programming app is CubeProgrammer and I'm using the SWD port.
CubeProgrammer consistently gives the error messages "error: failed to erase memory" or "error: failure to download the File" whereupon the programming sequence halts.
The code I'm programming into the micro is good because other identical PC boards program fine. The SWDIO and SWCLK lines have clean rail-to-rail data on them. The interface frequency is slow, less than 1MHz. The VDD rail is free of glitches. I have replaced the micro with a fresh one, getting the same result.
Cube's log dialog claims that memory reads and option bytes reads happen flawlessly, but not programming.
Any ideas on what might be causing this?
