Hi Franco,

What is your battery voltage ; is it 3.0v or less /more ?

You can refer to our Datasheet on web (rev3) it includes all what you need

and also you can have a look on our Low power reference for your energy meter design with STM32 in this Application Note

http://www.st.com/stonline/products/literature/an/13922.pdf

: ''STM32F101xx and STM32F103xx low-power modes''. Enjoy ;)

Sorry for my continualy question

The my application must be function in battery mode in this function what is the current used when the processor is in standby mode? is 2uA is correct? plus if the RCT is on is 1.4uA tot. the current is 3.4uA?

The time from standby to a main function is 50us?

Thanks

Franco

Hi obtronix,

150 and 200 µs are the Maximum timing in worst cases condition ( Hot /Cold temperatures, low/High VDD level from 2 to 3.6Volts.

The typical value is of course less , for example only 50µs for Wake-up from standby mode + your reset firmware code & PLL lock time etc....

By the way, what is your application configuration and your expected life of Battery ? are you using other components such as a Glass LCD like on most of metering products.

looking at the new datasheets the startup time is 150usec + 200 usec if you are using the PLL.

I am using a glass LCD, which brings up a question, do you think the STM32 series will ever have a internal LCD driver like the MSP430/AVR/MaxQ chips have? Seem like a common thing required for power meters/glocose meters, which this processor is aimed at (according to ST's brochures). Takes a lot of area to add an external LCD driver chip.
