I would like to know what load capacitance to have the Processor and RTC crystals
made by the vendor. Typically the crystals are precision ground with a load capacitance such that when operating in the circuit the frequency will be very close to what it was made for. The RTC crystal is typically a tuning fork and is loaded with 9 pF or 12.5 pF at finish grinding. The processor crystal can be 6 pF. I would like to know the actual loading capacitances from the integrated circuit chip. To a large degree it can be influenced by printed circuit trace layout. Thanks!
