I wish to purchase and use the IAR kickstart for audio development using an I2S interface, so is it Ok to make a hardware change to the PCB and remove the STM32F103RB (which I believe only supports I2C), and replace it with the STMF103RC which has the I2S/I2C interface ?

Will the IAR 'KSDK-STM32-PLUS' software still work with the different chip ?

I would be bery gratefull if sombody could advise me.
