As said, the explanation is provided on the FAQ entry:

http://www.raisonance.com/Forum/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=2520

The support by RLink of the SWD protocol is still under development (planned for next quarter), but the adapter has been adapted for this purpose (available only with the Cortex-M3 MCUs).

I received a new Raisonance RLink JTAG adaptor this morning: All the documentation still refers to the old JTAG-ARM adaptor, but the pack contained a ''JTAG-SWD'' instead - which was entirely undocumented.

If you also have one of these, and are wondering whether it's right for the STM32, then it is. They should be shipped with the jumpers correctly set for JTAG use, like this:

Raisonance have now added the following FAQ entry:

Sorry for the late answer. About the support of SWD by RLink, we are working on this task and, Yes, we plan this release for the current quarter (hopefully before September 2008).
