I need to write on the backup registers when a falling edge is detected on PA0. So I put some capacitors on Vbat but now I need some advice to write the stmcube code.

Then I have to be sure that the value stay in the backup register when my capacitors will be discharged.

I'm working with STM32F100.

Someone could help me please?

Unless I missed something the backup registers need a power source.

The backup registers are in the Vbat power domain and are part of the RTC.  Not sure what the cube supports, don't use it, but it's the same setup as RTC except you don't need to start the LSE oscillator.
