Hello.
According to UM1907 I can power the board via ST-LINK USB connector (CN14) if the host PC can deliver 500mA. My board doesn't start using CN14 connector. When I power it from the same USB via usb_fs (CN13) or usb_hs (CN12) the board starts. Jumper on JP1 connector is installed correctrly according to the power supply choice. Is it ok? One more thing. When I connect the board via ST-Link USB connector, STM32 STLink device appeared but ''the drivers are not installed'', while connecting STM32F4discovery to the same connector works fine. Is ST-Link broken?2016-01-13 07:40 AM
Hi baev.alexander,
Try to use the STLink Utility tool. If device is still not recognized, you have to perform a firmware upgrade in order to install suitable firmware for STM32F7.-Mayla-To give better visibility on the answered topics, please click on Accept as Solution on the reply which solved your issue or answered your question.

Hi Mayla
I tried STLink Utility tool. It said that it could not find any device. ''You have to perform a firmware upgrade in order to install suitable firmware for STM32F7''. How should I do this?2016-01-13 11:28 AM
I think it uses the mbed ST-LINK V2.1 drivers and firmware. The currently ST-LINK Utilities (v3.8 as I recall) have the latest firmwares (V25).
If the firmware on the STM32F7 interferes with things either keep the Reset button pressed or strap BOOT0 high.http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/PF260219

Still didn't solve the problem. I changed the board - the same results. I installed the drivers on Windows XP PC - the kit works fine. I changed the FW of the ST-Link (STSW-Link007) to the latest. I removed all the ST drivers from the Windows7 PC, reinstalled the latest ones (STSW-Link009). Nothing changed. When I connect the discovery board to the usb, systems says that drivers are not installed correctly (with specific wrong drivers' sound). Have someone tested the board with Windows7 32bit?

Maybe it will help someone. In my case the solution was the following. I just renewed ST Link drivers but chose them from already installed drivers (I don't know how to explain precisely because I have russian windows interface). So reinstalling the drivers from the devices manager had no effect, but choosing from the existing solved the problem.
