What determines the conversion time of the onboard ADCs?
I am having problems when I move from a MCU system clock frequency of 72MHz to 65.536MHz #adc #stm32f3032015-06-03 02:44 PM
The conversion time is the samples cycles plus conversion cycles all divided by the ADC clock frequency.
The minimum ADC clock frequency is 140 KHz. If the AHB and ADC prescalars combined are 512, that would do it. But that might not be your setup. Describe the setup and problem. Cheers, Hal2015-06-04 12:37 AM
My problem is that I need a very accurate clock source at reasonable price. The best I could find was a temp compensated module at 16.384MHz which scales to 65.536MHz - very slightly too slow for max speed ADC. Next up is 73.728MHz, which works but is just out of spec. Subject of another question...
