The F429I data sheet should indicate FT on all the safe pins. Most typically are, watch the analogue pins.These aren't ATMEL 3.3V parts..

I've moved to I2C OLED displays, and away from the clunky 162 LCDs

Hey all, I have a I2C LCD display 2x16 that I'd like to connect to a F429I board. The display I2C signals are both 5V. I've seen that some pins of the F429I are 5V-tolerant but I'm having a hard time finding this info from the datasheet. In the case F429I I2C ports are ok with 5V signals, isn't that advisable to put a 330 to 470 ohms in series with SCL and SDA?

Thank you! I was looking at another datasheet. What do you mean by "These aren't ATMEL 3.3V parts"? Regarding the LCD display, I had it "on stock" and it is for a proof of concept design. I would be interested to know which OLED display(s) you are using...=)

Well unless I missed something all the 3.3V Arduino's using ATMEL ATSAMD devices are not 5V tolerant on any of their pins..
