X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 peak current higher than 30A ?

What would be the maximum safe peak current for the IHM08M1 board ( 0.5 sec)?

I know that the board has a hardware over-current protection kicking in at 30 A. But the STL220N6F7 FETs are rated higher.

Also, while configuring the combo X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 with a NUCLEO-F302/303 in motor control workbench, you can optionally use comparators on the MCU board for the over-current protection. With the MCU comparators OCP is configurable to kick in as high as 99 A.

Is the X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 capable of handling 99 A(peak) for let's say 0.5 second?

If not, what would be a safe peak current (and duration) to be handled by the X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1?

Thanks in advance.

Jay
