Hi,when generating code with Motor Control Workbench for the B-G431B-ESC1 there is no code generated for CAN or PWM. Pin assignment in CubeMX is also missing. Is the B-G431B-ESC1 not supported in Motor Control Workbench, yet?Kind Regards,Jay
What would be the maximum safe peak current for the IHM08M1 board ( 0.5 sec)?I know that the board has a hardware over-current protection kicking in at 30 A. But the STL220N6F7 FETs are rated higher. Also, while configuring the combo X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 ...
Hello,tl;drUsing a Hoverboard hub motor and Nucleo-F303RE + X-Nucleo-IHM08M1 combo the motor spins sensorless but not with an attached encoder as speed sensor. What I did so far.Used motor profiler to get hub motor parameters.Although the values for f...
Hello Cedric, yes, it helped!.After selecting "Update" instead of "Generate", in the generate window, the .ioc file is created as expected. It is even clearly documented in the readme-file. I must have over-read that. Thanks for your help!Kind Regards,...
Hello Cedric, thank you for your help. I missed the G431B-ESC example in workbench, thanks for the hint.Unfortunately the described workflow (readme from the example) does not create a complete .ioc file. PA15 configuration is still missing. Looking a...
Hi Giuseppe, thank you for the quick reply.50A-60A would come as spikes once in a while. The general load will need around 15A-20A. So that gives me the headroom I need without frying the board. Thanks again and Kind Regards,Jay
Hi Giuseppe,I have a similar question regarding the IHM08M1. I am using a 250W Hub motor mostly in stall mode. For my needs the 30A peak current set by hardware over current protection is a tad to weak. I would need OCP kicking in at about 50A-60A to...
The answer to my question:I had to tick "Reverse counting direction" in "Speed Sensing". Now the motor is spinning. Speed and torque control modes are up and running.
