Which power board should I choose?

Erem

Hi,

I want to control a PMSM using STM32 FOC SDK.

And the spec of the PMSM is below

Rated input volt: 62 V

Rated current: 2.5 A

Rated output: 200W

But I notice the voltage sets of power broad are

10~28 Vdc

8~48 Vdc

125~400 Vdc

could I choose 8~48 Vdc range to control my PMSM?

Like X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 power board.

(But the motor speed may slower than the value on datasheet)

Or should I follow the Watt?

Like STEVAL-IPM05F (500W power board).

(But I am not sure the output voltage will under 62V or not)

Hello @Erem

I suggest the St Mc Suite tool, which lists you the Motor Control compatible boards with the details, Here is the link :

We are sorry for the late response, if you still need help,
- Click on - Start -> Engine Control Solution
- select the motor type (BLDC)
- select the algorithm
- then choose your board in Power Board
