HFI + Sensorless in MC Workbench

luke514

In motor control workbench 6 there is only HSO (which I don't understand if it's equal to HFI)

In motor control workbench 5 there is the option "sensorless + HFI" but it is not settable because it says "not supported in FW for SDK5.x"

Is there by any chance a version of motor control workbench that supports HFI + Sensorless ??

Thanks

Hello @luke514,

As mentioned in workbench tool, "sensorless + HFI" is not supported in FW for SDK5.x and following deliveries.
You can find a full HSO feature (that do not replace HFI feature) description in documentation available through "Workbench tool">About>Documentations>Documentation", "HSO Startup Guide" link.

Thank you for your response.

Where can I find your information/examples/implementations of the High Frequency Injection technique? ..since it is not present in MC Workbench

Let me explain better: since I cannot enable the HFI motor control workbench 5 option and since it does not exist in motor control workbench 6 ... do you have any libraries/guides to help me implement that technique?

In the mc_interface.c generated by motor control workbench I found only the function MCI_GetIqdHF, which I think it does not center with this :\

Hello @luke514,

As already mentioned, HFI is no longer available on Motor Control Workbench, as an example or in documentation.
MCI_GetIqdHF will be removed in the next versions as it is unused.
