Hi all

I'm want to send a string from one stm32 to another stm32 to blink an led on it I'm using uart polling method to do that.

The communication happens and led blinks only if I press the Reset button once I switch off and on power supply. What should be done if I want continuous communication.

Still lacking detail - that shows us nothing other than BOOT0 is connected to ground.

How about posting the code you have?

Use this button to properly post source code:

It opens up a window into which you copy & paste your code.

Put it in an endless loop

is this a custom board? BOOT0 pulled Low?

Try to provide some more detail rather than symptom.

Up vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

Yes it's a custom board and. Boot0 is pulled low.

Well, that code should transmit continuously in a loop.

Does it run under debug?

BTW: you've marked by previous reply as The Solution - but I don't think it solves your problem?

Yes the code runs under debug once the supply is made off and on the code works after i press the reset button on any of the two board.

I mean if you run it within the debugger in the IDE - does the restart button within the debugger successfully restart the code?

Once you've clicked it, you have the option to undo that ...
