So i need to setup a tcp server on the f4, easy as there are examples using netx. But i am forced to use HAL 1.27 which is in no way compatible with the old eth drivers, i dont need the performance win of the new ETH HAL, but whenever i try to change something in the examples ioc, the inbuilt cubemx overrides the hal files and everything goes in the bucket. I still cant get my head around why you should not be able to select the HAL you want to use especially when it breaks like all netx examples. I totally get that the whole Azure RTOS on ST is still in development and that some things might not work, but why force the user to use unfinished software, when there are working (maybe not perfect) examples? So the only option i have right now is using cubemx standalone (where you can select older HALs) make a new project and treat it in cubeide as a atollic project? If thats the solution than congrats ST you could have saved alot of time by not making cubeide. Or are new examples (like for h7) soon deployed?
