Hello Team,

I am trying to use the external ST Link V2 with NUCLEO-C031C6,

Below are the connections,

1. I have removed CN2

2. JTAG Connections are below

    1- MCU VDD to 3.3V pin of CN6

    2. SWDIO - PA13 of CN7

    3. SWCLK - PA14 of CN7

    4. NRST - NSRT pin of CN6

    5. GND - GND pin of CN6

    6. GND(16)- GND pin of CN6

I have given 5V at JP5 pin, Able to see the MCYU get power at JP6

With this connection I am unable to program the MCU, getting this error

But why? The Nucleo boards have an on-board ST-Link. You only need to connect CN1 with a USB cable to power and program them.

@nevase123 - on that thought:

  1. Does the onboard ST-Link work?
  2. Have you ever used this external ST-Link successfully before?

Also, What ST-Link are you using? Is it a genuine ST one?
