STLink V3SET CN3 connector UART not working in any configuration

I bought STLink V3SET just to have SWD/JTAG + UART on one board. However CN3 connector for UART doesn't seem to work at all, despite any configuration (1 VCP or 2 VCP) and update chosen by STLink Upgrade.

I can check that UART on target STM32F3 board works with all other USB-UART adapters (FTDI FT2232H, Chipwhisperer, any cheap USB-UART from aliexpress....) just not STLink v3. Tried both /dev/ttyACM0 and /dev/ttyACM1.

Other functions like SWD debug work as expected on STLink v3, but UART just won't. I can't see any jumper that could change the behavior of CN3 in manual.

Pictures below - STLink v2 with external USB-UART (works) and STLink V3SET UART (doesn't)

BTW don't be thrown off by the XTAL being crooken on the board, it's not used, the jumper is switched to use HS2 from Chipwhisperer if HSE is used, but HSI is used in the program.

Hi, did you find a solution? I have the same problem with STlink v3...

The TX (OUTPUT) of the Target should go to the TX INPUT on the V3SET
