STEVAL-STWINBX1 test points

nicolas

The STEVAL-STWINBX1 has 12 test points but there is no serigraphy for identifying them.

Also in the UM2965, there is no information about the position of each test points.

Where can i find this information ?

Hello, you can refer to the board schematics available here

https://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/steval-stwinbox1-schematic.pdf

Regards,

David

Thanks for the reply but the schematics is of no help, I need to know where the test points are on the PCB.

Look on the 'CAD Resource' tab of the Product Page:

https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-stwinbx1.html#cad-resources

The PCB design is there

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried it but I didn't found more information because the test points were without legend.

Not  sure there is a better method, but please refer to the file cds2f_20201281_steval-stwbxcs1_v4.txt. Here the test points coordinates are reported:

S!TP4!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!YES!270.000!-59.7185!28.0967!TPS!!!
S!TP5!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!YES!270.000!-53.0373!41.1330!TPS!!!
S!TP6!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!YES!270.000!-53.6082!30.5240!TPS!!!
S!TP7!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!NO!0.000!-10.5724!16.0919!TPS!!!
S!TP8!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!YES!0.000!-58.8218!36.2692!TPS!!!
S!TP9!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!YES!0.000!-28.6044!38.3840!TPS!!!
S!TP12!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!NO!0.000!-47.5286!37.3060!TPS!!!
S!TP10!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!YES!0.000!-53.9978!6.8816!TPS!!!
S!TP11!IO!TMP-386!!!!PACKAGE!TPS-0100!YES!0.000!-46.0378!6.8281!TPS!!!

Then you can open the soldertop and solderbottom layers with 'gerbv' to map the test points on the PCB.

E.g.: TP5 (-53.0373!41.1330) is located here
