On Nucleo H753ZI normally PG7 is used as USB FS overcurrent indication input and has a red LED on it.
I need PG7 as output (don't ask why) going to external connector. Not using the USB FS function.
So when PG7 is set low, the overcurrent LED glows.
Can this cause any damage to the pin or USB FS circuitry?

Hello,
Initially, PG7 is supposed to be an input, as FAULT signal from U18 is an output. So if you set PG7 as output, you'll have 2 pins driving the wire... Not recommended at all.
if you don't need USB FS function, you should remove SB76, so the signal will only go to the external connector CN12.
Or pull out U18 (STMPS2141STR).
