ok, try on Win7 PC now update + change type :

then:

after upgrade try plug out and in to get new enumeration, but:

_legacyfs_online_stmicro_images_0693W00000bkdooQAA.pngso:

  • download and install new win. drivers
  • update firmware + change type
  • wait some minutes...

thanks to all who have helped clarify ...

Have you connected the Vcc pin of MINIE to the target?

shure...

if you think about the 0,00V message : there was no target, just connect to St-Link was proofing connection.

problem was : need install driver (!) never need this before. new driver from STM needed.

and then update firmware / change type !

crazy...because the almost identical V3mods working instantly !

would you expect the almost same product from same company behave totally different ?

These days, you know, nothing is 100% sure.

Can be bad cables, power glitches... maybe a defective or damaged st-link too.

Try to swap all parts, use a good reliable machine. Win10 or 11.
