My application is quite simple. All I need is a simple LCD touch screen application that can render text and a couple colored squares that has UART comms.
When looking at mbed examples for the H747I I found the following from 2019:

I was able to get this to build and launch using VS Code (platformio). However the graphics shows a bunch of random pixels instead of the demos. One of the demos dims the screen and brightens it and that DOES work, but all the rendering seems to be wrong.
Ideally I would like to try avoid going STM32 IDE and stick to the simple mbed environment if possible.
I did confirm my hardware is working by loading on the binary files and seeing the super impressive graphics demos which is way overkill for my needs.
Any suggestions?
