Source Code for STEVAL_STM32L4x6-ST25R500_v1_0_4.bin on Nucleo L476RG + ST25R501

Hi,

I’m currently working with the Nucleo L476RG board and the ST25R501 NFC reader, and I am using a provided .bin file (STEVAL_STM32L4x6-ST25R500_v1_0_4.bin) that runs on the board together with the GUI application.

I would like to ask if it’s possible to obtain the source code corresponding to this .bin file. Having access to the source would help me better understand the implementation and allow me to adapt or extend it for my project.

Any guidance on how I could get access to the source code would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

See Firmware for the STEVAL-25R300 kit (STSW-ST25R022).

Note: This firmware is designed to operate with a graphical user interface hosted on a PC. If your complete application is intended to be embedded, use the X-NUCLEO-NFC12A1 board on top of a MCU board (e.g. NUCLEO-L476RG) with the X-CUBE-NFC12 firmware.

I understand that for embedded applications you recommend using the X-CUBE-NFC12 with the appropriate hardware.

However, in my case I am currently working with the GUI-based setup using the ST25R501, and specifically the firmware binary: STEVAL_STM32L4x6-ST25R500_v1_0_4.bin

For this reason, I would like to ask if it is possible to obtain access to the source code corresponding to this specific .bin file.

Could you please confirm whether this source code is available, or if it is not publicly released?

the board and its software are not distributed via st.com. Please go through official channels which provided you with the board.
