Can you reset the RF password on ST25DV if you forget the presently set password?

The RF password can only be set over RF, I2C has no ability to access these registers (RF_PWD_0/1/2/3). If an RF user sets a password, and then forgets it, is there any built in mechanism to reset the password back to its factory default, or some other way to recover the password?

Hello,

There is no built in mechanism to reset the password back to its factory default. This would be a serious security breach. If the RF user forget the password, there is no way to recover it (same thing for the I2C password by the way).

Best regards.
