VN920B5HTR-E Driver's Current Sensor Function Appropriate Resistance Value

Hello, I would like to use the current sensor function of the VN920B5HTR-E driver.
According to the data sheet, when the Rsense value is used at 10k, it is expressed as 4V when it is 10A above 8V.
I use a load of 12V and up to about 8A, so can I use 10K?? The maximum voltage by detection should be less than 5V.
This is because the ADC_CURRENT value must be connected to the port of the MCU.
I wonder if this circuit design method is correct.

I'm asking because I'm curious about the figure because I think it's too big to use as a value for shunt resistance.
