Hi would it be possible to use STSPIN3201 to build BLDC servo drive.
Basic spec step and direction input, quad encoder input.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks Paul

Hi,
You may refer to the

Thanks for your reply, re info think been though all your data sheets and info.
When using quad encoder with your STeval 3201 board found conflict with current sense pins.
Was hopping someone had done a BLDC servo drive using STSPIN3201.
Please do you have any code using quad encoder and step and direction inputs for position servo drive.
Or do you think this to much for this IC.
Please note this is a mass market project.
Have spent about £30k and 3years work.
Am only 1 man band but working hard to get this done.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Kind regards Paul

Hi Paul,
which conflict you found in the encoder configuration with the current sensing pins?
Current sensing is operated on PA3/4/5 and quadrature encoder inputs can be mapped on PA0/1 (TIM2).
