Hi,

I have a similar question to last time! I am now trying to use a sinusoidal input on the same motor (1 pole pair, closed loop, with 1 hall sensor connected).

The maximum speed I can run the motor at without it getting really hot is about 15000RPM. Is there any way I can increase this without increasing the current consumption?

I also have a question about how to measure the current consumed by the motor. I have tried measuring it at jumper w6, but am not able to get a clear reading. Is there a test point on the development kit where you can measure the current?

(I am sorry for this question - I realise it is a dumb one!!)
