I am planning to use the HOLD/HLDA bus sharing mode on the ST10F269 so that another CPU can write into static RAM on the ST10's bus. The data sheet says that signal line such as CSx, RD, WRL etc. are ''pulled up'' during the HOLD state.
Would this be resistively pulled up so that the external device can drive them low to access the said RAM? if so what sort of value should I expect to have to drive 1k or 10's of k? Thanks2004-11-26 03:32 AM
Thanks for the info, What I meant was are they resistors and not totem-pole type drivers, i.e. can an external device pull them low without fighting the ST10's pull-ups.
I think you answered that point thanks PhilipJ
