Hello All ,

I have this board str71x-sk-rais from Raisonance's and i want to use the ULINK is this board and not the RLINK . 1 . Is this possible ? 2 . If yes is the ULINK that i used in the 8051 is the same for ARM ? Pl's try to support me on this . Thx Amir

Hi,

In order to use another programmer tool than the RLink, like the ULink, on the REva board, you must break the RLink apart from the REva board as explained in the REva documentation: Open RIDE, click ''help''->''PDF''->''STR7-Tools''->''REva'' After that, you can use the 20-pins ARM connector like with any other ARM board, but you will have to power the board using an external 9V power supply. You cannot power it through the RLink's USB any more. (!) You will still be able to use the RLink if you want to. I don't know about the versions of ULink. You should ask Keil directly. Vincent
