In order to reduce power consumption, I want to use the nSTDBY pin to enable/disable the main oscillator. The idea is that the nSTDBY pin goes high (pull up) turning the main oscillator on.
Assume that the micro is in standby mode, with the RTC running and the main oscillator disabled (CLK pin stays low). I have 3 questions... 1. If the wakeup pn is toggled will the nSTDBY pin change if CLK stays low? 2. If the RTC alarm is triggered (32 KHz oscillator running) will the nSTDBY pin change if CLK stays low? 3. If the micro was running off CLK_AF before it entered STDBY, does this make any difference to the above answers? Thanks, Nick [ This message was edited by: nlemoz on 18-01-2006 02:03 ]
