ST7FLITE29 read-out protection and reprogramming
2003-12-22 07:42 PM
Hi,
Condition = running the internal RC oscillator. Is there any way to set ''read-out protection'' option byte and still reprogram without the lost of the 1% RC-calibaration made initial from factory ? Best regards, Tomas2003-12-22 11:27 PM
If readout protection in a ST72Flite29 is removed, STVP7 1.9.0 does restore the RC callibration values with the factory values, but ONLY in socket or ICP disable mode.

Hi,
Anyone know where to find the documentation about the new feature in STVP7 1.9.1 about restoring the RC calibration values with the factory values ? Our supplier of programming tools is asking me and I can't find the info in the help file etc. Best regards, Tomas2004-04-27 09:51 PM
I would also like to know how it knows the factory calibrated values, surely these values change for different batches of device ?

Hi sjo,
when studing the programming behavior I can see that the software read the two values, save them temporary and after the reset of the option byte restore them again. With this metod you get the orginal and unique values in place again. Best regards, Tomas2004-05-07 08:23 PM
Dear all,
I think maybe the page 15(2.2.1.3) of the attached file is helpful.
