Does anyone have any ideas on the following?
Using the ST7 assembler, version 4.48, linker version 3.13:
segment 'myrom' is declared at C000
If the DATE directive is used straight after using a segment 'myrom' directive without declaring any constants, the S19 skips the first 12 bytes, and the date starts at C00C. If a variable is declaired before the date directive, the S19 contains the constant at C000, and the ASCII date data starting at C001. The later behaving as expected.
Any ideas?
