Program HDFlash from ST72F324 with ICC without PC/Programmingboard

I want to download the complete program code into the HDFlash of an ST72F324 with ICC-Protocol but no PC or programmingboard. All necessary pins of the ST7 are connected. My idea is to connect ICCDATA and ICCCLK to a serial RAM, EPROM or whatever, turn on systempower and bring the ST7 into ICC-mode (keep NRESET lo, perform N-pulses on ICCDATA...) and then the HDFlash is programmed automatically

For what reason, all you are doing is emulating a programming board ?
You will still need to generate the icc entry pulses, Vpp voltage. How are you going to generate these ? Regards Spen2003-05-25 08:05 PM
Hi, thanks for your reply.
The Vpp voltage is generated by the circuit board on which the ST7 is attached. The entry pulses are performed by a digital test system which can stimulate all necessary pins of teh ST7. So if i can bring the ST7 in correct operatin mode is it ok to connect a serial ram (EPROM...) to the ST7. I hope that the ST7 takes control and loads down the 32k program code. The ST7 is programed only one time, but programming time is expensive and so an easy (and fast) way should be found to program lots of circuit board with ST7 and other ic's on it. regards Christoph
