M95M02-DRCS6TP/K We have this part on hand, while the tracecode on the label has been erased , we want to know how should we identify the datecode from part marking

The marking is correct: 95M02DR6 stands for the M95M02-DRCS6TP/K. The datecode is in the format YWW, i.e. 139 = 2011 or more likely 2021, week 39.

However, it is always a red flag when someone makes the trace code and bulk ID illegible because they want to hide something or rip you off. Either the components are fakes or the intention is to disguise where they come from. In any case, highly suspicious!

Good luck!

Not really.

It's often done to stop blow-back on the original purchaser of the parts, as there might be a no-resale clause in the purchase contract.

Where say you want 80K parts at 100K prices, or MoQ commitments, and push 20K out the back door or too partner/wholesaler.

Its generally better to deface the trace codes than violate the factory packaging integrity.
