UDE STK 5.2 STOP WORKING AFTER FEW DAYS

Hi,

 

I'm currently working with a discovery board SPC58EC-DISP and I´m using a SPC5-UDESTK for debug, my issue is the next:

 

The first 2 - 3 days the UDE STK 5.2 works properly, I can connect to the board without problem,  but after those days I am not able to connect with the board, it shows the next message

I delete and installed again the UDE STK 5.2 and I was able to connect to the board again but after few days Im facing the same issue, I have two laptops and in both Im facing the same issue, also the power supply and all the configuration is the same when it connects to the board and when it doesn´t connects, I read in some forums that it could be a power supply issue but definitely this is not the case because nothing changes when it works and when not..

could you try 64 bits version  Download SPC5-UDESTK (pls-mc.com) ?

I recommend to contact PLS

@Erwan YVIN  Why is your answer set as accepted solution if the issue is not resolved and if I don´t even prove your suggested solution?, I will try installing that version and I will let you know if that works.

Limitation in comparison to the full featured professional PLS tools are:

  • No trace capability
  • No realtime access / realtime variable access during runtime
  • No automation capabilities
  • Less performance
  • No support by PLS
  • Support of latest devices and silicon steps is not guaranteed

 

 

 

Regarding the issue:

The error message tell that nothing has been detected at JTAG.

Reason might be:

  • Power supply issue
  • Issue with target connection
  • Wrong software flashed (invalid clock settings, resets shortly after power on -> reset escalation )
