Hi,
We are using an SPC5 microcontroller for a motor controller application. All of a sudden, we weren't able to connect with our motor controller board, which runs on the SPC5 controller, and we also found that it was getting heated up to 36 °C.
and while checking, we found something short in the "VDD_HV_IO0" pin, and we have checked by removing all the decoupling capacitors too. Now, should I consider that the controller went off, or are there any other ways to fix or debug this issue?

Hi,
It seems that some current coming back from the motor might have fried the MCU...

That is what I had anticipated. Apart from changing the MCU, are there any other options?
