I read in other posts that it is not possible to read out the VL53L5CX histogram data because there is just too much of it. But I was wondering if it is possible to read it out if we do not care about real-time operation and are okay reading out the data at a slower frame rate (e.g., 0.5Hz).
Thanks!

Hello,
For the moment it is not possible to read out the VL53L5CX histogram data even at a slower frame rate.
ST is working on a product that would enable such a read out.
Stay tuned.
Regards
Anne

Thanks for the reply! That is very exciting that you are working on it. Is there an estimated timeline for the release of the product?

Hello
It is not possible to read out histogram data for the L5CX. Anyhow, you can check the VL53L7CH or VL53L8CH that are doing the job.
Best regards
Anne
