VCC_IO of Teseo LIV3F

Hello there!

I'm about to decide on a GNSS module for my application. I'm curious about the VCC_IO in the datasheet. First it seems that the supply voltage of the module can be 2,1 to 4,3 V. However, the VCC_IO is demanded to be 3 to 3,6 V (in contrast to VCC and VCC_BATT)... which has quite an impact on my 2,6V design of my electronics.

What is this VCC_IO for? What happens if it is only supported with 2,6 V? Any experience with that?

Thanks for any comments,

Hendrik

Hi Hendrik

VCC_IO declares the voltage level for I/O signal (PPS, nReset, WakeUp, I2C lines and UART lines).

In the Teseo-LIV3F the I/O voltage (VCC_IO) is fixed at 3.3V and this volatage is mandatory to be 'translated' in a logial "1".

In case of Teseo-LIV3F i'm sorry but 2.6V can not be used as VCC_IO.

Hope this help

Regards

Francesco

...but please take this as a feature request for the next release. The datasheet title page suggests that the module can be used with 2,1 to 4,3 V.
