1. I know that html is the underlying format to the posts, but other users may not be aware of it, so the formulation is confusing for them.
2. more importantly; what invalid HTML was found? I did not use the HTML edit mode in that post. I might've typed in something which offended the checker, but it should've pointed out exactly what, and not just removed something without my knowledge and consent.
How hard it may be to understand that POSTS ARE NOT TO BE MUTILATED!!! (even if it may sound as innocent as removing noses from hand-written smileys).

Hello @waclawek.jan ,
Doublechecking on this one. Have you tried to copy/paste HTML into the post or the underlined content is typed by you?

Yes, I & others have seen this; eg,
per that thread, it does (often) seem to be related to pasting stuff in, and that bringing some "unwanted" formatting with it.
Also editing a block-quote - because the forum won't allow selective quoting.

Here's a specific example that causes the "Invalid HTML" message:
https://community.st.com/t5/feedback-forum/quot-invalid-html-quot-but-accepted-in-editor/td-p/723081
TL;DR: the HTML is not (necessarily) invalid; it may be unsupported - but it's not invalid.
