I repeatedly encounter the issue of not finding suitable 3D models for ICs from ST. There are some library providers that offer not only symbols and footprints but also low-quality 3D models. However, I tend to create the libraries myself, both for work and personal use. This is because the libraries from various providers seem either poorly made or poorly automated. But that’s beside the point—I would greatly appreciate it if all 3D models for ST products were available for download on the product page alongside datasheets and application notes.
Although I have managed to extract 3D models from larger 3D assemblies, such as NUCLEO boards, this is incredibly time-consuming.
Thank you very much.
