We have a BMS board with SPC574S64 Controller and L9963E as BMS IC
I am trying to communicate with the BMS IC via Direct/Normal SPI mode
I have done the necessary HW connections properly and ensured the SPI lines are proper.
I am trying to communicate with the L9963E but I donot see any response from it, some time I see all response as FF or 00
once in a while I saw a frame on the data bus as 0x0000000016 which is a wakeup frame, but I am not sure what is missing for the chip to respond, here are the command sequence I send on the Bus as per the data sheet
I have only one BMS IC for now on the board which is connected to the SPC574S64 via direct SPI lines
Broad Cast frame to 0xC0040C1040
500us delay
Read back frame 0x8286000000
I am not seeing any response from the L9963E.
even I tried sending the rest of the frames on the bus, but still no response
I have seen once there is a response of 0x00000016 - default wakeup frame, but later I didn't see any response
Please let me know if any worked on this, what is the sequence to wakeup the BMS IC, am I missing something over here
