Hello,
I am trying to set up the 14 cell GUI using the C4MLIT1, ISOSPI1, and BMS63EN boards. At this point in time, I am only interested in the logging functionality and just want to use the demo as it comes.
I have the hardware set up in centralized configuration, with just a single BMS63EN connected to 14 cells via the BMSHOLD cell holder (~56 V total). When I start the GUI, the serial port connects, but no data appears.
Could someone advise on whether I have understood the broad steps correctly, starting from having AutoDevKitStudio installed and GUI project imported?
I just want to confirm whether I have the simple stuff right first before moving on. I'm slightly concerned I may have burnt the chip. How can I diagnose whether the issue is with the SPI <> MCU board connections, or with the BMS <> SPI board connections?
For info, the only LEDs illuminated on the ISOSPI1 are FAULT and D7. On the BMS63EN, D2 briefly flashes on when the cells are connected, but then turns off and stays off.

Hi Luke,
Make sure the connection between ISOSPI USB and BMS63EN is performed using the ISOL port of your BMS63EN.
It is crucial to perform the flashing procedure in between step 5 and 6.So, if all other steps were executed correctly, I think you are missing to "install" the compiled code on your C4MLIT1.
Here attached you can find the detailed description on how to install compiled code on an AEK MCU board.
