STM32 MCUs Wireless

I took the "Examples\UART\UART_Printf" as reference and added the EmbOS. Printf worded with embOS. In some steep, after project clean or some project changes, the printf stopped to work.Uart works. I use STM32CubeIDE.What can be a reason?

Also it can connect to Loriot gateway server.However, the sensor node board with the USI I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 shield does not respond to AT command through a Tera terminal. Also, the Cayene application does not show any activity of this sensor board.How do I correct it?

Hello there,I've sucesssfully built the app AT_SLAVE app and downloaded it to my the board.When connected trough USB everything works fine.I've the enable USART1 to be able to communicate with the STM32 via D0/D1 of the arduino connector.I have no communication.On the arduino board D0 is RX and D1 is TX, but on the Nucleo PB7/PA3(D0) says it is also RX and PB6/PA2 TX (checked trough MX tool).Any help would be greatly appreciatedRegardsLaurent

Is it possible to use MCUs in the STM32WB line in both Bluetooth LE and Bluetooth Classic modes at the same time? I've seen that it does "dual mode", but not whether it can do both at the same time.Thanks

Why am I limited to using the Bluetooth and 802.15.4 MACs? The hardware can clearly do FSK and DSSS, so why the striction? Why are you restricting entrepreneurs from innovating and developing free and open source protocols for use in the 2.GHz space - in a world where Bluetooth, Thread and Zigbee is all-proprietary?The STM32WB range have a very attractive price, the only thing we need is free and open hardward (and btw. when is ST going to replace ARM with RISC-V ?).

Hello,I am using STM32 Cube Ide and I am just getting started with the STM32 WB55 board. I tried running the p2p Server project from the firmware package but I can't see the board neither on nrf Connect application or ST BLE Sensor app. Does anyone has the same problem ?

I am using an STM32WB55CG in a custom board with SWD interface. When I tried to connect the MCU using STM32CubeProgrammer, the MCU is identified in the Cube Programmer. But, when I tried to program it using the STM32cube IDE, device is not identified. Also, when I tried to erase the flash using STM32CubeProgrammer and also tried to write program through flash Programmer both does not work and shows errors. What is the problem behind it?

Good day,I'm using the scheduler to be able to run tasks on the STM32WB. It all works fine, but I would like to be able to add different priority levels to tasks, since the timing of some tasks are more critical than others. I edited app_conf.h as follows (default only had CFG_SCH_PRIO_0 and CFG_PRIO_NBR):/** * This is the list of priority required by the application * Each Id shall be in the range 0..31 */ typedef enum { CFG_SCH_PRIO_0, CFG_SCH_PRIO_1, CFG_SCH_PRIO_2, CFG_PRIO_NBR, } CFG_SCH_Prio_Id_t;I also edited utilities_conf.h as follows (was 2, now 4):#define UTIL_SEQ_CONF_PRIO_NBR (4)I'm happy to report that this works! However, I need to keep on changing these two files every time I regenerate code with CubeMx (I'm using it from within STM32CubeIDE). Is this perhaps something that could be added to a next revision of the STM32WB software package? Perhaps under the scheduler, the number of priority levels can be chosen.

Hi, All,​I want to use CubeMon-RF to monitor the USB dongle of the P-NUCLEO-WB55.According to the Manual : STM32CubeMonitor-RF software tool for wireless performance measurements, The USB dongle must be monitored using the VCP DEVICE link, and it need to update Firmware to use the example : ble_transparent_mode_vcp.​To update the USB dongle's firmware, I must use STM32CubeProg tool.According to the manual : STM32CubeProgrammer software description,USB dongle must use DFU mode for Firmware update, and I install DFU driver follow the Chapter 1.2.4.And set the DFU mode according to this web page https://visualgdb.com/tools/STM32WBUpdater/connecting/.​However, when the device is plugged into the PC, the Window Device Manager does not detect any device, and the USB dongle is the same as STM32WB Nucleo.And Win7 is the same as Win10.May I ask how to solve this?​Thanks. ​​

Hello,We successfully using 247 as MTU values in our STM32WB55 system.We did try to use 512 CFG_BLE_MAX_ATT_MTU as max MTU value noted in SHCI_C2_BLE_Init() - (517 according to BLE5 spec)The connection and mtu negotiation is working successful (512 bytes), however, we could not transfer any actual data.But then, we noticed that TL layer explicitly limits all traffic to 255 bytes (CFG_TLBLE_MOST_EVENT_PAYLOAD_SIZE & HCI_COMMAND_MAX_PARAM_LEN)So, the question is: what's the actual maximal MTU value supported?If 512, how should it work with IPC packet limitation?If 247, any future plan to support larger MTUs? (tested on v1.10 full FW)Thanks in advance

I choose as reference the application example "BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS_ANCS" and EmbOS with CMSIS for CubeIDE for STM32F746NG( board 32F746GDISCOVERY). In reference STM project, the CMSIS is included by "cmsis_os.h" that includes "cmsis_os2.h" and also part of FreeRTOS. I have many compilation errors on API CMSIS with BLE part.Do you have reference for EmbOS with CMSIS-OS?

I want To do Bare Metal Programming on STM32 using STM32CubeIDE.have (STM32WB55 and STM32F103). what all header files and source files are required to use peripheral registers and make own Device driver. For E.g: in AVR 8 bit MCU for doing bare metal we simply have to add iom328.h or iom2560.h header file that will include all the peripheral registers of the MCU and we can easily make LL.Same way out what are the Header files required for doing it with STM32CMSIS: is like Initialize our processor and includes its registers.So what all header files to be included for programming STM32F103 and STM32WB55

Hello,I have to design a wb55 firmware which expose one service with twelve characteristics, but using CubeMX there are no ways to add more than five characteristics for each service.There is a tip to skip this limit (also modifying the CubeMx automatic source code) ?Thanks in advance

I want to make custom stm32WL board layout with antenna path. I found NUCLEO-WL55JC. This board has BGA package for stm32WL55JC.Q1: I need stm32WL QFPN package board layout and antenna path. Is there board layout and reference design for stm32WL55CC (QFPN) ?  Q2: I see rf-shield for stm32WL55JC in NUCLEO-WL55JC board. What is ordering code of rf-shield and where can I buy this ? Hello, I'm using STM32WB55 for my application.My code is divided in 2 parts, bootloader and application.I configured the bootloader using USART 1 with FIFO mode disabled. In the application I initialize again the USART 1 using the FIFO mode (enabled).Jumping in the application the USART works fine, but in the bootloader there is something strange, it loses byte when receiving.It seems the USART is still configured in FIFO mode in bootloader.NVIC system reset, or power reset, does not resolve the problem.When configuring the pheriperal in the same mode in both part (FIFO mode enabled or not enabled), everything work perfect.It sounds like HW problem when initialize or de inizialize the fifo mode.Anyone has some kind of suggestion?

I followed the example by viewing the file "03-STM32WB-WS__How_to_add_BLE_functionality_V2.2.pdf" in stm32wb workshops. ​The stm32wb55rg evk succeeded in Bluetooth communication with this example of the pdf file.Now I applied my custom board, stm32wb35cc, to my project as I did in the workshop example to try Bluetooth communication, but I couldn't see the Bluetooth node on my phone. Which is the problem?

I used I-CUBE-LRWAN develop my sensor node. The problem is when a network have sensor node more than 15 node, sometime they can't transimit data to gateway. I found a recomend for other device that mcu have to eanble LBT to avoid the collision. Please help me,Can LBT solve the problem? I I-CUBE-LRWAN have LBT?

If the stm32 mcu is connected as shown in the figure below, is there a way to download fw image from the master stm32(STM32WB35) mcu to the slave stm32(STM32L0) mcu?​
