Hi,Can I use STM32WL_UFQFPN48_Reference_Design_+22dBm_490MHz.PDF reference schematic file (attached) in en.STM32WL_Reference_Board_MB1720-XO_IOs_Shield to design my project +22dBm - 433MHz ????
I would like to create a network where clients (router or end device) can send messages to coordinator Digi XBee3. I've been trying to connect router STM32WB with some examples inside of STM32WB CubeWB to communicate with an XBee coordinator but I can't. I'm not sure if because of an incorrect configuration in my XBee or if It is impossible between STM32WB to DIGI XBee.Any information about this will be helpful!!
I have created a project from one of the Example Applications in STM32 WB CUBE.I exported the whole of the code and renamed the project with the intention that it be independent of the original example. My development environment is STMCubeIDE.I made a few changes of variable names in main.cWhen I edit the project .ioc file from inside the IDE using MXCube, the variables I'd changed in main revert to their names in the original example. How is this happening? Is it possible to stop it happening?
Hi I need to send (and possbly receive) data via BLE and python to a Stm32wb55RG Nucleo board. THere are so many examples. Which one should I Take or which one is best suited for me as a starting point? I am trying not to watch 100s of videos. Or Do I need to watch them all? ;)
Calling "aci_gap_additional_beacon_start" first works successfully, but calling "aci_gap_set_discoverable" after that returns "0x0C Command disallowed".If I swap these instructions and set up the main advertisement first, I get the same 0x0C error trying to set up an additional beacon. Please find the code example here: https://github.com/flipperdevices/flipperzero-firmware/blob/zlo/additional_beacon_test/firmware/targets/f7/ble_glue/gap.cMain advertisement initialization is contained in the "gap_advertise_start" function. Beacon initialization is inside "beacon_start".Radiostack versions used: 1.13.3 Lite, 1.14.1 Lite
What are the Effects of LoRaWAN_init() on our task? For more- I am not register task again?Pls help i have already spend two days on that
I have configured my stm32wb as a BLE server and I would like to write large data. I handle prepare write request properly but how I manage the end of the transfer ?As show on the figure, the client send a execute write request but how can I catch this event in application firmware ?I found aci_att_exec_write_resp_event callback but it is never called.Trace of the transfer :
The beginning of my data is 0xc0 0x00 0x00. I notify every 15 bytes of data on the server side, and I also receive 15 bytes of data on the client side. Then I wrap and start from scratch. The beginning of each line of data I input through the USB dongle serial port should be 0xc0 0x00 0x00, not other data, and there will be some inexplicable line breaks and character printing, as shown in the figure. This is my problem. This problem has bothered me for a long time. Thank you in advance.
Hello Everyone,Currently, I am working with the board Nucleo-WL55JC1. I wonder if it is possible to isolate and measure either current or voltage of a component (RF or a peripheral for example) on my development board?. My main goal is to seperately measure power consumption of a component on my board.Hope to see your help.Thank you, Huy Nguyen.
I have been developing embedded software for on and off for 15 years, and STM32 for 5. I have a pretty simple goal for a timer application on the WB55 microcontroller, and I've been banging my head for the last 2 days with little success, so I'm asking the community if there is something simple I'm missing.I'm trying to use Timer 16 and Timer 17 on the STM32WB55 to each output one pulse per software call. This is for a very typical servo PWM control application, where a single positive pulse of 1.0 msec to 2.0 msec is needed every 20 msec. I'm using my own hard real-time scheduler to drive the control loop, and when the software calculates the desired pulse duration, I want to output the pulse with minimum latency after that calculation is done. This means that I don't want to use a continuous timer PWM and adjust the pulse width on the fly, because if my software scheduling drifts out of sync with the PWM period, there could be up to 20 msec of latency before the updated pulse duratio
Any program that I generate using STM32CubeIDE for the STM32WB with BLE enabled hangs until I comment out the following line. What needs to change in the initialization sequence? /** * We should never end up in this case * However, if due to any bug in the timer server this is the case, the mistake may not impact the user. * We could just clean the interrupt flag and get out from this unexpected interrupt */ while(__HAL_RTC_WAKEUPTIMER_GET_FLAG(phrtc, RTC_FLAG_WUTWF) == RESET);
Hi,I designed the hardware like the firgure below,my schematic below, the VDD connected to the VDDPA pin.VR_PA voltage is 1.7 - 1.9V.when Lora transmit the VR_PA voltage is smaller than 3.1V.Please support me. Thank you very much
I am relatively new to stm32 and willing to know whether there are any detailed description for utilizing HAL functions. Recently, I'm DIYing a breathing LED (PWM sweeping from 0% to 100% and then go back to 0%) with stm32wb55rg on a nucleo board, without using software level counters in while loop. Instead, I'm learning to use HAL callback functions for PWMs and I found the PulseFinishCallback very suitable. The problem is that it keeps failing with callback never reached, I've looked through so many forum questions both in ST community and stack overflow, together with so many trial and errors to find the true settings in .ioc layout for calling this HAL callback function. So Right now I'm wondering are there any things like pilots' pre-take off checklist to check for settings in .ioc file, in order to run those HAL library functions?
How to change the operation cycle of each server and scanner in iBeaconI want to shorten the transmission interval between iBeacon server and scanner
Hi,How to use I2C with BLE , I got return HAL_ERROR when I read/write register data from sensor. Thanks.
Please suggest me some documents explain about RadioSetRxDutyCycle.Thanks.
Hello everyone. 4 years ago i began developing a project from this board B-L072Z-LRWAN1 using a LoRa "PingPong" example. Now i want to re-start this project on Nucleo-STM32WL55, but there is not a "LoRa PingPong" example, only a SubGhz PingPong (alas, i need the lora middleware for authenticating ingoing and outgoing packets). Fact is: I want to take some code from the old Ping Pong example on B-L072Z-LRWAN1 , but i cannot find it anymore!I tried to: Use current CubeMX with NUCLEO-L073RZ (or similar L0 boards). See picture attached. Manually download L0 package v. 1.12.1, but did not find the example among files. (picture attached) Use a old version of cubeMx (6.1.0), still no lora ping pong example. Has it been removed? Anyone has a clue? I would really love to have the source code again Thank you very much if you have any hint!
HiWe have a project that uses the STM32WB55 with the full BLE stack in version 1.10.1. Today I recorded some air traffic between my PC and the device and struggled over something that confused me.In our project we have disabled the data length support by: #define CFG_BLE_DATA_LENGTH_EXTENSION 0But in the air trace I see two things that make me think that DLE is enabled even with the configuration that should disable it.1) In the LL_FEATURE_RSP that comes from the STM32WB we see that it tels us that it supports DLE:2) In a response to a LL_LENGTH_REQ we get a nomal response with an extended RX length:Is this a normal behavior? I would expect that the DLE feature is not activated and the LL_LENGTH_REQ is rejected.Regards Adrian
Hello,I am having trouble running a successful LoRaWAN FUOTA campaign for my Nucleo-WL55JC development board. I am using the LoRaWAN_FUOTA_DualCore example project found in the STM32CubeWL_V1.2.0 firmware package, and am using AWS-IoT for LoRaWAN as my network server. Following the steps in AN5554 (LoRaWAN firmware update over the air with STM32CubeWL), I am able to successfully compile the End_Node application + SBSFU firmware and flash it to my Nucleo board using the provided BATCH scripts. I am also able to make minor changes to the End_Node application (eg. adding additional print statements), and see those changes reflected in the UART output from my board. I am also able to commission the device with AWS, and it in turn successfully joins with the network server and I am able to see my device payloads arrive in the MQTT topics I have routed them to.The trouble I am having is in the execution of the FUOTA campaign. I am following the steps outlined in the AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN
Hi,On a custom board I can no longer reprogram the MCU (STM32WB15) via the SWD link. The last program flashed on the card works perfectly but I can no longer establish the SWD link with CubeIde via the ST-LINK probe.Message "target not found".I guess the SWD link was disabled by accident.I tried to change the voltage on the PH3-BOOT0 pin from GND (0V) to Vdd (3V), but the MCU still boots only to the user flash. How to erase the last program and restore the initial (factory) configuration of the MCU.Thanks.
I'm developing my custom board using a STM32WB55VGY6TR microcontroller and I want to use the Nucleo-WB55 developer kit as a programmer for my custom circuit board. However, I cannot start debugging using STM32cubeIDE. The IDE said that failed to start the GDB server and error in initializing the ST-LINK device.I agree my chip assembly could have a problem, but I feel that the chip is rigidly bound to the board. So, I am pretty sure there is no miss connection.I connected the programming Jumper pin of Nucleo-WB55 to the STM32WB55VGY6TR below.GND => GND of microcontroller (Vss in right-top side)NRST = NRST of microcontroller pin with a 10k resistor, 100 nF capacitor, and Schottky diode. (the circuit is fully same with reset part of Nucleo-WB55)SWDIO => PA13 of microcontroller that is described as "SYS_JTMS_SWDIO (no mode)" in the STM32cubeMXSWCLK => PA14 of microcontroller that is described as "SYS_JTCK_SWCLK (no mode)" in the STM32cubeMXSWO => PB3 of microcontroller that is d

Hello,In STM32WLE5CC Lorawan, when It Doesn't get ack for confirmed uplink, it decreases its datarate(Increase SF), but not TX Power is increases.Say Due to ADR Device is at DR5 and TX Power 10. Due to increase in noise, device doesn't get ack from LNS. After some try, it changes its datarate to DR4,then to DR3 and So on till DR0. but in all backoff, TX power remains to 10. TX power not increased to 0. Pease guide to solve this issue?Thank You
I connected a LED to the PA11 pin of STM32WB55VGY microcontrollerand I want to toggle it.So, I'm trying to use HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(xx, yy) but I cannot know the "xx (GPIO_Typedef)" of PA11 pin.Where can I found which pin is which GPIOx?
Hi,I am developing a small module with the STM32WB10 and I need to do 10 ADC conversions (9 external and the internal temperature). However, I can only get the DMA to do the 8 channels configured in the regular channel ranks (Number of conversions = 8 is max in the CubeIDE configurator). How do I make the DMA handle the last 2 channels aswell? if it is at all possible?I can see in the stm32wb10xx.h that there is this define#define ADC_SUPPORT_2_5_MSPSthat prevents the stm32wbxx_hal_adc.h from providing more than 8 ranks for the ADC, but I don't need 2,5MSPS. Is it possible to slow it down somewhere? I tried just giving it a slower clock, but that didn't do the trick...
